Chad Daybell Found Guilty in Murders of First Wife and Stepchildren
Guilty Verdict in Idaho Trial
A jury in Idaho has found Chad Daybell guilty of first-degree murder in the deaths of his first wife, Tammy Daybell, and his second wife's two children, Joshua "JJ" Vallow and Tylee Ryan.
Decision Comes After Nearly Two-Month Trial
The verdict concludes Daybell's nearly two-month trial, during which prosecutors argued that he killed his first wife to marry his second wife, Lori Vallow, and then killed her children to clear the way for their relationship.
The jury will reconvene on Friday to consider whether Daybell should face the death penalty.
Daybell has denied the charges and his attorney has said he will appeal the verdict.
